KAITEKI REGULACION participated in the CONVERGENCE 2026 Conference (05/13/2026), organized by Lawyers in Regulation, jointly with the Rural Telecommunications Group of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the Lima Chapter of the Peruvian Engineers Association (Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú – CIP Lima), and Perú Lab.
The conference served as a technical forum aimed at promoting the country’s digital connectivity agenda, with a particular focus on assessing potential frameworks for the new broadband regime, including the National Fiber Optic Backbone Network (RDNFO), as well as the transport and access networks associated with the regional projects.
The analysis of lessons learned from these fiber optic projects, as well as the evaluation of potential mechanisms that may form part of the sector’s new priority agenda, are undoubtedly valuable and aligned with the clear objective of connecting the unconnected within a framework that respects the subsidiary role of the state and promotes public-private collaboration.
Attendees included María José Yuriko Rodríguez Nakagawa and Beatriz Fernández Espinoza, together with Dr. Virginia Nakagawa.
