We are pleased to share our Legal Alert—Insight 3, regarding Legislative Decree No. 1738 (published on February 13), which amends Legislative Decree No. 1338, the statute that created the National Registry of Mobile Terminal Equipment for Security purposes, aimed at preventing and combating the illegal trade of mobile terminal devices and strengthening public safety, in order to establish a reasonable cap on the number of public mobile services that may be held by individuals.

Pursuant to this amendment, individuals in Peru may not hold more than seven (7) mobile lines.
