On July 25, 2026, the Peruvian Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) published Ministerial Resolution No. 420-2026-MTC/01/03, ordering the publication for public consultation of a draft Supreme Decree that would amend the Regulation of Legislative Decree No. 1627, enacted to promote the deployment of 5G-based public telecommunications services and approved by Supreme Decree No. 004-2025-MTC.
Interested stakeholders have 15 calendar days, beginning July 26, 2026, to submit comments on the proposed amendments through the MTC’s Virtual Filing Office (Mesa de Partes Virtual – MPV) or by email at info.dgprc@mtc.gob.pe.
